How did you rate Me Herczeg's performance. The man who was the inspiration for this feature.

I've still not fully forgiven him for the Burton debacle last season.

Maybe he felt he ‘owed’ us one after denying them a stonewall penalty with 5 mins’ to go.

Connell nibbled at the lad outside of the box then slid in, inside the box wiping out their lad and got none of the ball… lucky boy as he was already on a Yellow too!

Didn’t really notice him too much, which as we always say is a good sign.

The Luca tackle was a stonewall penalty though. I thought it live and again seeing the replays. Maybe he felt he owed us one after Burton last season.

Did ok couple of key descisions favoured us for a change. Some refs would have given a foul on the keeper for our first goal. It wasn’t but given how keepers are over protected I wouldn’t have been surprised to hear the whistle

some refs would have given a penalty for Connells challenge near the end would have been hard to argue though it wasn’t as stone wall as the one he denied us at Burton last season so maybe a bit of evening out.

gave him a 6 but possibly am being a bit harsh

Best ref this season I've seen. Let the game flow, as evidenced by only three mins added time in the second half.

Thought he did ok in a close game. Some may argue that we got away with a pen, but some argue that when we haven’t so take it all with a pinch of salt. It’s a 6 from me.

I thought the challenge on the keeper was fair. Seemed like he was milking it a bit to save face from his awful first touch.

Penalty claim was one, in my opinion. Clattered him from behind and didn’t get any of the ball.

Guess whoever gave him a zero is still holding a grudge from Burton last year.

I gave him a 2. The man should've been picking up his p45 after Burton

We seem to have said that a few times recently. Perhaps we will need to stop saying 'for a change' soon.

Connell was a lucky boy. He is the beating heart of our team but geez, the kid needs to learn how to tackle as he is awful at it. He will inevitably be sent off at some point this season.

Thought the ref was one of our best this season. Possibly 8 would be appropriate but a definite solid 7.

I've given him a 7. When I saw he was our referee prior to the game, I was determined to give him 0, no matter what! :D But I had to admit I thought he was decent.

While that's true, that's a bit like my teacher giving me a 2 on my French test I did well in, because I wrote a dogshit essay in last year's history exam.

Is this just us being bias though bud? Had it been us who he didn't give a penalty to for that luca challenge, we'd all be saying a 3, 4 max.
