Second time we've had Mr Stockbridge this season, after he took charge of the reverse fixture at Wigan.
The commentators seemed to think there was a shirt pull on Roberts. Personally I saw nothing of the sort.
I haven't seen it back, but we thought he disallowed it as the ball had gone out of play when it was crossed in. Roberts seemed to restart the game from a goal kick. I've skimmed back through the full replay, but I can't remember when it was.
It was a corner which swung out before dipping back in and over the keeper. I can't imagine how that trajectory could have taken the ball out of play. However, as @exiled points out, there were very few Wigan protests. That's odd - even the most disciplined players are human, and if they genuinely felt the goal was legitimate you'd have expected some sort of reaction.
It didn’t look a foul to me but the ref looked absolutely convinced and no protests …which would suggest there was something that isn’t on camera

It wasn’t a corner in the first place was it? We were certain it came off their man so justice was done as far as I’m concerned
Unfortunately we can’t always go by what Matt says. He often reports something then changes his mind ten seconds later. Maybe the view from their box isn’t good enough?
Yes but it’s nothing like the blatant shirt pulling and pushing that normally goes on in the box. We were lucky to get away with that slight contact. On the other hand a camera on the other side might have shown a different point of view. Perhaps their number seven had a handful of his shirt for a second or two
Wigan 7 puts his arm in front of Roberts' face as the ball is swinging over. Not necessarily made contact but enough of a distraction to be a foul. You can see from where the ref is pointing that's what had caught his attention. Great decision.
I think there was going to be a foul called at that corner no matter what happened. Never a corner in a million years and the ref was giving the foul for us regardless, seen it happen a million times. Thought he was an ok ref that wasn’t helped at all by the linesman on the east stand side, he was really poor.
I’ve given a 6, an ok to decent performance. Only real controversy was their disallowed goal for the ‘arm/ hand’ contact on Robert’s,which was very minimal and hardly noticeable but went our way for a change
6 from me didnt get much wrong except the one big decision regarding their goal - I still have no real idea why it was disallowed but it must have been a foul on the keeper as I cant see what else it can be. the ball couldnt have gone out then come back in agan then dropped into the goal gave him a 6 but probably would have been a 7 if he had given Wigans goal. That said I am sure it wasnt a corner even though thats what the linesman gave
