Most underrated player we have. Solid performances every game. week in week out.

 

Just said on another thread. His panic signing when Kitching was sold was the one adequate replacement we have made, he’s been ok.

 

Shame about his distribution, as when he hits it long it rarely finds a red shirt. However, steady performances don’t warrant the criticisms I’ve heard and read about him

 

Up there with Connell and Kane as being consistently above average.
Have never quite got the criticism.

 

I reckon if you look back at the goals we've scored this season, you'll be surprised as to how many have come about from a McCart lofted pass. What worries me is the number of times he has to knock it long, because nobody is actively wanting to receive the ball from him. Yesterday's game saw us revert to how we were earlier in the season (before Connell came back) where the deeper midfielders were rarely in space and wanting to receive a pass. Even Connell was guilty of it a few times yesterday, which I guess could be attributed to how well Wigan pressed.

 

Very underrated, goes completely under the radar, but rarely puts a foot wrong.

Wasn't too impressed initially but he's won me over.
Been a consistent performer recently.

Cant recall him unless we agree to it as well is what Neerav said i think so should be ok there.

 

Yea think I said at half time he was our best player v Wigan.
Let's be honest he's average but he is our best defender so far imho but the tool to measure our centre backs isn't that good.
The French lad was overall my mom...and I do think he's class with his passing.

 

I thought he was good yesterday along with Mael but Williams is a nervous wreck now. Is the club purposely trying to devalue him so he has to stay? I actually can't work it out.

 

Best centre half at the club but that doesn’t take a lot of beating.

 

Part of a failing defence. He’s a steady player but he doesn’t blend with the others and as a unit they are very porous but as an individual very consistent

 

On one of the RS previews at the weekend where they were talking about Rovrum’s acute shortage of available centre halves I don’t think McCart was mentioned at all. That must mean they don’t rate him at their level, or there is no recall clause in the deal.

 

He's a solid league one defender lacks height which isn't ideal with the other two he plays with.

 

Just heard he could have been recalled on facetube apparently?

I would say based on that he’s going to be recalled, another totally different back line for the remainder of the season….again.

 

The only thing against that is that they've already activated the recall for Kioso, the other player mentioned, and he's going back.
