NC on BBC after yesterday's game said that both Roberts and McCart were staying until the end of the season.
That makes it sound like he’s getting recalled, & it wouldn’t surprise me. They’ll need him for league 1 next season, as Ayala & Morrison will be on a decent wedge & Rotherham will need to cut their cloth to take the hit of relegation again.
Surely if Richardson has made up his mind to recall him, and the loan deal allows for it, then it would have happened by now, as happened with Dodgson?
Why would Collins look a ....,If Rotherham change their mind and recall McCart its their call not ours.
They decided today they are recalling him but Collins said yesterday that we had a say and he’s staying so for them to then recall him today looks bad on Collins
From what I’ve worked out, only Roberts has the recall clause. Others haven’t - and would need agreement from both clubs. However, if the player wanted to go as well, then it would be irrelevant - you can’t keep a player who wants to go back in reality. Also to some extent, inter-club relationships are important too. If you refuse a loan to go back, you can kiss that relationship goodbye.
Especially like the special one we have with Rotherham. Although it's a while since we top and tailed with them. It's something I'd like to re-explore sooner rather than later.
Rest of the article also read as Kioso was going back to be part of plans and McCart decision would be based on maybe part of plans in time(in other words not in immediate plans but back up). Gotta be honest & say if it wasn’t for your accurate transfer history I would have said you were wrong.
I wouldn't be too disappointed if he went back. The way I see it Kitching went at the last minute too good an offer to turn down but left us with big hole to fill quickly Mccart was available left sided and local no need for him to move his life. He's done ok but with more time hopefully they have been working on a better option, so suits us for him to go back filled a gap and we are still in touch to have a proper go at top two.
Just in general - I’ll use Burnley as a good example over the last few years. Man City too (although not always worked out).
