    Do you think he’ll continue to improve for 5-10 more years? 500k is the top prize money in this tournament. If I’d got half a million at 16 I’d never have managed to keep working as hard as I had for the next 5-10 years.
    I worry he’ll peak too soon.

    We don’t know do we? The beauty of sport. I think he can though. A lot of darts players peak when they’ve been playing 15 / 20 years so on that basis he’s only just getting started.

    I appreciate he isn’t your average darts player mind.

    No chance for me. Much more depth now. Peak Taylor in this era would be among the favourites as he was brilliant but wouldn’t win anywhere near as much.

    Most go for it. It’s a good percentage shot as if you hit outer bull first shot you can still finish with treble 19 and bull.

    If you go for a treble and hit the single you can no longer finish. Don’t get me wrong it’s still a hell of a shot!

    Won't be as good. At that stage he will have a target on his back and even more expected of him. He'll likely have lots of other things to think about like mortgage, children etc. At the moment his biggest worry is picking where to get his beloved pre match kebab from.

    At £200k a final appearance/£500k a win, he won't need too many more good runs in the World Championship before a mortgage will be crossed off the list of worries.
