Try venturing slightly out of the centre to Lark lane Loads of cafes, bars and restaurants Never been disappointed whichever restaurant we choose but our particular favourite is Hafla Hafla , middle eastern street food
As others have said, Bold Street is a great place. We went to the Greek restaurant and had some lovely food. If you fancy a steak, you can't go wrong with Cowshed on Seel Street - great food and prices are pretty good.
I like Bold Street, but like you, never been disappointed with Lark Lane which I think is an outstanding area, whether you are walking, eating or (especially) drinking. Bl00dy love it!
Renshaw street food market. Loads of different foods from round the world. https://www.renshawstmarket.com/
Last time we were in Liverpool for International Beatles Week we planned to check this place out but got caught up in the Cavern Club, as you do! Looks excellent.
Mowgli is excellent - mate's wife is her Pa he often house sits for her Duke Street Market - choice of food Bold Street - plenty there Casa Italia is a Liverpool favourite - oldy worldy Italian but has been around for years. Often has large queues El Gata Negro - lovely Spanish Tapas The Quarter is by the Philharmonic- Highly recommend this one Shiraz Palace - cheap, cheerful but lovely food If you want a decent bar after - way better bars on the outside of the centre. Ship and Mitre, Excelsior, Dr Duncans, Thomas Rigbys, The Lion , Railway Tavern Roscoe Head, Dispensory. - should keep you going a while
