Infact when I was about 21 I, ahem, “dated” a 40 odd year old for a while and it was tremendous fun! Admittedly it did feel a bit weird when she introduced me to her eldest son and he wasn’t that much younger than me. Think we called it a day not long after that.

To my point though a couple of my mates made comments, saying it “looked weird” etc. But we were both consenting adults who had a great time together. Ok it didn’t last long in the grand scheme of things, but it was entirely victimless as far as I’m concerned.

Have you read how they got together. Nothing like grooming imo online. Why use the theory in this case. The poster said he was concerned. (Are you?) Should we be concerned over all others of the same age. Or take each case on merit.

 

However they got together (6 weeks ago), I can't see any way that a 21 year old bloke and a 16 year old girl would be seen as equal to this. Hugging and kissing on tv, that would be OK? Nah, no way, the bloke would be arrested by now.
Yes she appears to be into her darts, but the lass Adam Johnson was into might have liked her football?
This girl is an aspiring beautician and seems to have a very active Tiktok and Instagram presence, so maybe I'm being a tad cynical in thinking perhaps there's other motives in this and she's maybe not "the one" or maybe The Nuke has a stunning personality and she loves a kebab.

Fine that's your opinion . I dont agree. Innocent till guilty. It may last a month it may last years. Neither of know for definite. As for Adam johnson the girl was underage.

 

Never said it was different if proven. And grooming is abhorrent regardless of gender. I replied to the poster who had concerns. I merit each case. And in this one I dont think its grooming. Just for the avoidance of any doubt, once you hit 16 you can shag whoever you like, legally.

It doesn’t matter if the male or female is older.

The only time it becomes an issue is if the older person is in a position of power ie. Teacher, Dr, Police officer etc.then the age of the minor is 18.

Just because you think it’s wrong doesn’t mean it is.
