Now would be the time to step in. Can do a job and help competition for places. Bring on his undoubted talent and (eventually) let go with a chunky sell-on fee.
I thought we'd got the better player with Watters, instead of Tedic. But its not worked out well for either of them, so far this season.
6 goals in 46 games in the past season and a half is so poor for a striker. He's 24 in a few months, so can't hide behind still being young and inexperienced. Be shocked if another league one side wanted him.
Absolutely not. Massively over rated by some, poor loan signing for us and his final appearance at Wembley he might aswell come sat with me.
No no and no if his efforts last season weren’t enough his none show for Charlton the other week surely was. We could swap Watters for Dallas and Shaw, or maybe Iseka ? By we have some carp strikers
You are joking? King of sarcasm? We've done this once with Watters, to do it with Tedic too would be beyond comprehension.
The difference between him and Norwood when he came on was night and day, and Norwood is now in non-league
And city paid 3million for tedic.. i must be worth a few hundred grand. Norwood had a good game in the final is energy was good ge ran his blood to water and was cramping at the end. Tedic barely broke sweat in the Wembley sun. I think if we had more goals from the 2 loanees in tedic and watters we would have gone up automatically.
I’d have Iseka back over Watters any day of the week. Always thought he had some ability, christ knows why it seems we’ve never been able to use him. He’d be more than decent in L1. Not gonna happen like…
I really don't think we can make that assumption based on what little we've seen here, attribute that with his apparent lack of will to train as well, I think he would ultimately cause more harm than good imo. His goal record for a striker is poor at every club, even Watters had a decent record at 2 of his clubs.
That was a total brainfart by Duff, playing him instead of Norwood - the guy who scored in both league matches against the Fritzls. Duff went drastically down in my estimations for that single mishap
Tedic wasn’t very good. It surprises me that anybody would want him back. I wonder whether people who say he did well were just comparing him to Watters. A low bar, by any stretch of the imagination!
I spoke to some Charlton fans after the game - they couldn’t understand what he offered either. They were more than happy for him not to get back on the coach and stay at Oakwell for the final part of the season
