Watching their cup game against Wrexham. Their ground looks a very nice place.

Their ground is just 4 stands of equal height with blue and yellow plastic seats on a retail park. Definition of identikit.

    Shrewsbury itself is lovely though.

Not been to the new one - did visit Gay Meadow which was a nice little ground. Been to plenty of clubs where I've been to the old ground but not their new - need to try and revisit some of them

The old one was next to the river and they had a man in a small boat on patrol every match day fishing out the balls that went over the stand on that side. The quaint side of football!

A similar example was Whaddon Road years ago when I lived in Gloucester. Cheltenham had an old fashioned non-league set up then and balls were flying out of the ground in all directions. They had a fit guy (probably in his 50s) stationed next to the dug outs who used to sprint round the pitch to retrieve them wherever they were. They must have had a little locked door on each side for him to use. I never saw him come back without a ball under his arm so he was obviously very good at it!

Not one of the most memorable grounds I ha e been to, but it was when we got thrashed in the night game a few seasons ago.

Poor stadium built in a rubbish area and the pre game pub was terrible service and horrible food.
