But we aren't talking about the league above - we're talking about us, now, in League One - where he's 3rd top scorer. As it happens, I agree he'd struggle in the league above, but he's doing a really good job for us now, and without his goals we'd be towing. Good debate though, no issues with differing opinions.
Remember last season, when Dev was on 15 goals (I think we'd just won away at Forest Green). I started a thread on here asking if we thought he was going to score 20 or more. And disappointingly, he didn't score any more in those remaining games. He's got a chance of 20 again this time, and we might have the option of keeping him and letting his contract run down.
As far as I am aware, he is a free agent ,end of the season, unless BFC have an option to extend, which if so I am unaware.
Nothing negative, Jeez, As I’ve already mentioned, a player is worth what the buying club are willing to pay, anything less than a million doesn’t make sense. Why you think a 14/15 goal striker at roughly the halfway point of the season is ‘Easy to replace’ doesn’t smack of realism to me. Nobody would be paying us anything for an out of contract player would they. You’re all over the shop here
