Lee could talk a good game at boardroom level. The higher guys thought he was impressive. And he wore some good clobber.

Patrick supported Lee through a long and awful period. Then Lee jumped ship as soon as he got a good offer. Well done Patrick and fook off Lee. We saw you in the end.

Must admit I wanted him to fail miserably at Bristol after that didn't care much.Hard to to see where he goes next got a decent job after Bristol tried and failed in Scotland dropped to a level he had success with us failed ah well never mind.

Thought he gave Barnsley fans more access to players and kept them informed about things around the club, better than most managers

Awful manager with an ego the size of a planet. He'll no doubt PowerPoint himself into another job only to get sacked again 6 months later.

I see LJ hasn’t appears to have given up for now on another position but still believes in himself.
Currently advertising to share his experiences with 5 upcoming coaches via zoom sessions.

“Thiught I’d offer my experiences for 5 individuals that are keen to learn from my 500+ games in management.”
Topics to include: playing philosophy, recruitment, youth development & media skills.

The little 2hat told me to **** off home, when I questioned his tactics behind the dug out,at Oakwell in the west stand.
He went drip white , when I bumped into him outside Bradford City after we beat them 1 0.
Week after , he fecked off to Bristol City.
Most 2 faced manager I have ever seen.

History says Hecky absolutely smashed it with what he inherited which to be fair was a fantastic team for this level.

Looking at his streaky record throughout Little Lees coaching career there is nothing to suggest that he would have achieved promotion. Getting into the playoffs was a close run thing. There was little room to drop points considering our starting point, and there’s no way he wouldn’t have tinkered - he couldn’t help himself.

I was at Oldham when we won at the start of the turnaround, and I actually felt for Johnson. He’d had stick off me all season, and during that game the home fans had given it to him as well. He came onto the pitch and I thought ‘fair play lad’. He’d won me over a bit.

Anyone that was a Bristol when they beat us to avoid relegation will have seen how much our fans got to him over time. He didn’t hold back when doing his lap of honour.

Given Hecky was a full back & we ended up with under 23’s right back George Williams playing left back & Scowen playing right back due to injuries in the run in then I’d have to agree. You’ve got to imagine his knowledge of the position played a big part especially with Scowen.

Johnson wasn’t my cup of tea. His football bored me to tears. Possession without a purpose. Telling us Hourihane couldn’t play central in a midfield 4 despite us all seeing he could the previous season.

George Williams wasn't a u23s player. We would have kept him for the Championship season if we didn't have James Bree and then signed Andy yiadom on a free. Williams was a decent player at league one. We also had Andy White who was a important part of the promotion season before injury.

He only got a look in because of injuries. I don’t think he was ever a championship standard player. He was decent enough for a 4th or 5th choice full back but it was only several injuries that got him a run in the team. We only offered him & George Smith the minimum contracts allowed to get a transfer fee for them at first & then just released the pair of them when no offers were incoming.

I don't think Williams was a championship player but he was a steady league one player and took his chance when called upon and without his goal v Peterborough we wouldn't have reached the play offs. Yiadom and Bree were both better players though.

If there were six coaches interested, he could have included "how to deal with failure".

I agree on that although I still think that keeper had money on us!

I liked Williams. Signed from non league (by Wilson?) and was a solid player once Nayatanga was finally dropped, which seemed to coincide with our improvement that season.

Talking boll.ocks, impressing owners and ceo's and inflating results/achievements so they sound better than they actually are.

I don't think it can really be from him because it's in plain Englush, no mentions of POMO, or bomb alley!
