Great end to a very competitive 45. Jon Russell though. Jesus. It’s like watching lcon of The Seas.

Didn’t look in to me; I’m in the family stand east upper looking straight at it - though it might have been

Come on you colliers. Need a 2nd, brizzle rovers have scored in last 20 games on spin. Big 2nd half, hope we dont sit back on lead.

Mixed bag, but McAtee looking lively as always and a great cross for the goal, Cole has looked threatening, Kane running things in midfield and Shepherd has been brilliant

Russell does some great work but just seems to switch off all the time, Styles his usual frustrating self and not at all convinced by O'Keefe

Imho just about deserve it...but they look useful with Thomas and his pace the usual danger.
Our passing needs to improve and needs quickening up...we started really well McAtee looked well..hope it continues and Russell gets a shift on when in posession.

I'm enjoying the match. Good start but lack of composure and silly mistakes have prevented us from making the game more comfortable. Good header from Cole for the goal and I think Kane and Shepherd have been our stand out players thus far. Can't say I've been too impressed with Bristol Rovers and all their dangerous moves have come from our mistakes. Hoping we can cut those out and get another couple in the next 45.

Wasn't in. Even from the single camera coverage you can see that

So frustrating. You can tell he's a proper laiker, but suffers badly from the brainfarts

Shep's never done much wrong really. Thought he was unlucky not to get more game time

Pretty much sums it up for me. TBH Cole has been slack a couple of times too. Need a focused second half performance.

He was terrible in one game - maybe at Hornchurch?? - but on the right - hardly fair. He’s left sided.

He’s looked the part today in all fairness. Very good so far.

Our painful commentators discussing whether it had gone in.

A - ref would have blown after his watch buzzed
B - it would have defined physics for it to hit the post, go in, and still end up where it did

A second goal cushion would be in order
