I was mid-rant about Negative Neill and his second-half tactics, but that goal calmed me down. I think my headline is that our Plan A, on its day, works really well. Our Plan B significantly less so, probably because we don't have one.
Finally, a 40 second spell of getting the basic attacking positioning and passing right and, wow it works.. 2-1. Please don't try and defend the game out now Mr Collins.
It's hardly bedwetting from folk, when any decent team would have punished us before we got that second.
And that's not exactly Collins fault. We've got a bunch of defenders who can't do the basics such as head a ball, clear a ball or get goal side, it's ******* amateur stuff.
Defenders that look to panic when under pressure and midfielders that also can't cope with any problems..
also pretty sure he doesn’t tell them to pass to the opposition and give the ball away cheaply either
And we have wing backs who make half hearted attempts to close players down who are crossing the ball.
