Norwood is a journeyman footballer at the back end of his career and was looking for something longer than one year - we weren't prepared to offer two at his age
Having visited a few other forums, they are, unsurprisingly, very similar to here. The usual mix of reasonable posters, professional moaners, people with completely unrealistic expectations, and the odd complete and utter fruitcake.
Could understand if he was a great striker now woodrow on loan or Marc Roberts in defence now your talking.
Woodrow is different. I do think we have been bullied up front a few times this season. Although I think it has happened all over the pitch at various times… A big presence like Norwood up front would be a great option.
Was it Cole.? I was led believe it was one of players that left or end of their loan. ? Which would make more sense.
I agree with marc roberts but i still reckon Norwood would do more for us than Woodrow. He is always injured these days
My post was abit of a joke really but I do think woodrow would score in league one and signing Jimmy Norwood would ask alot of questions imo.
We brought Cosgrove in for the big lump he obviously wants to play football as he took a pay cut to come here and get his career back on track, there's a player in there which cost 2million at one point in his career. Doesn't look like there's out in the Norwood rumours but he was never coming to have Cole macatee watters Cosgrove jalo and Norwood all wanting to be in the matchday squad.
We should have offered him a 2yr contract to keep him. I thought he was a major player for us last season. I'd have him back, but would be very surprised if there was anything in it.
