Cundy seems to have slipped off the radar altogether and never gets a mention about any recovery from injury. Will we ever see him play for Barnsley fc again?

Needs moving on, like McCarthy. Ideally Benson, Shepherd and Watters too. Free some wages up, to bring in another centre half and striker

The difficulty the club face moving anyone on is that another club needs to want them. Unless they are at the end of their contract or the club are willing to meet a large part of their salary it’s more likely that they will be at the club until their contracts expire.

Cundy’s contract is up at the end of the season so most likely he’ll be here until May then a free agent.

Neill Collins gave an update on his injury last week, though said it was a complex one so not to expect to see him soon. He also said he's never seen him train. He's out of contract in the summer, so I assume we'll not see him again.

Why move Shepherd on? Hes shown hes more than capable in some games, struggled in a couple. So plenty of potential and cheap as chips. Absolutely no way should we get rid this soon

Shepherd? Potentially the best centre half we've had since Mawson.

I think with shepherd we probably need to try and get him some more league games out on loan in L2. He’s absolutely not ready at the moment. Any game where they chuck long balls over his head he’s an accident waiting to happen at the moment - needs to get those mistakes out of his game and I do reckon there’s potential there.

I can see Shepherd going out on loan to a L2 side that would be a great move.

Agree that a loan move could do him the world of good once Pines is match fit. I just read @Marc 's post like he was suggesting a permanent move. Apologies if I misinterpreted it.

Shepherd should be going nowhere,we'll need him as cover. If we buy another centre half (which I doubt) then maybe we should think of loaning him out.
