    Fairly certain he can go back on loan to a non league club. Just not a club in a 'professional' league

    He came on as sub against Bristol away so he has indeed played for three different clubs. Seems to go totally against FIFA rules so either we're ****** or there's an exemption that isn't clear in the rules.

    I thought we were on about Dallas? I’m sure Lofthouse played for us in league cup as it goes but could be wrong.

    There is different rules in non league. They are not as bound by the transfer window as league clubs for instance. I don’t know all the ins and outs of that though.

    I have no clue. I've tried reading the FIFA rules again and it's not really helped me as it mentions professional and non professional but doesn't make any references to non league.

    A few definitions
    • Purely amateur club: a club with no legal, financial or de facto links to a professional club that:
    i. is only permitted to register amateur players; or
    ii. has no registered professional players; or
    iii. has not registered any professional players in the three years prior to a particular date.​

    • Professional club: a club that is not a purely amateur club.
    • A professional is a player who has a written contract with a club and is paid more for his footballing activity than the expenses he effectively incurs.
    • All other players are considered to be amateurs.
    Not sure of the relevance of that but thought I'd include it.

    Whatever happens, can’t imagine Dallas being happy with the situation. He’s played a handful of games in League 1 and made 15 appearances in the SPL and now gonna end up in the Conference for half a season. Wrexham apparently wanted him last summer yet joined us and then told him he can leave, was wanting to go back to Scotland and play **** all football. Now Wrexham will possibly go up and he’s gonna end up at someone like York.

    Not blaming him for choosing us and he was worth the freebie risk but ***** he can only get a move to non league football. Hopefully goes back to Solihull and plays regular for a good side.
