Cao looks like he's commited two deliberate fouls this frame. Is it just me? A blind man could see that last shot was going in off. His body language looked suspect too after the shot. Biting his finger nails.
Not watched it but not many beat Ding 6-1 and with breaks in amount order of 135, 128, 128 and 124, 90 and 79.
I said to you the other day, he was playing at 7/10 in the masters, still won easily. Tonight he was 11/10. One of the greatest performances you’ll ever see.
Judd might be less than his usual self on long pots this afternoon session, but still leads by 2 frames It should be a good final session!
Gets about a bit our Steve. Chairman of World Snooker Tour Steve Dawson called it a "great privilege" to stage an event in Saudi Arabia, adding: "This is a huge breakthrough for snooker into a new territory, and we see this as the beginning of a new adventure for our sport in the region."
The Rocket doing it again. 6-3 down, back to 9-6 for the win. Last two frames have been absolutely brutal on Judd Trump.
He's the next best, Judd. And a lovely fella to boot. Hopefully the draw in Sheffield makes it possible that they meet in the final. Always a good one.
Stephen Hendry made an excellent point last night. He said the rest of the tour needed to step up. "Where are Shaun Murphy, John Higgins, Mark Selby and Neil Robertson". Then I read an excellent post on the BBC website comments page. If Ronnie O'Sullivan wins an eighth World title the pressure will be off him completely. He already doesn't care in the other events because he has won them all with regularity. He holds the record in the Masters and the U.K Championship for number of wins. That been there done it attitude is what makes him so invincible. I've won it. Doesn't matter if I lose. I suspect the reason he doesn't like Sheffield and the Worlds is because that's the one he desperately wants to win. If he gets the eighth title I think he'll either dominate for a few years with the monkey off his back or retire.
Ronnie has openly admitted several times that the reason he doesn't like the World Championship is because it is 17 days long and he doesn't like being away from home that long.
The sport has also lost the cheating few, many of which had great promise. I reckon Joe Johnson should get his cue out
