Tough one for me, first of all seperating favourite one from the most effective one. Also, I Go back a few years as well. Adam Hamill was a loan initially. Drinkwater was brilliant for us. Trippier, Steele, I could go on and on, then I Realise I don’t really have one. I can see this thread lasting forever
Anderson de Silva, without a doubt. Admittedly he then joined on a permanent basis but he’s without question the finest player I’ve seen turn out for the Reds in my 28 years of following us.
Hammill, Trippier, Kent, Barnes, Fletcher, Brownhill in recent years. Molby, Da Silva, Steele prior to them.
Oli McBurnie. Easy to play well when teams are doing well but that lad rsn his blood to water ro try to keep us up.
Siggi Johnson, Hammill, McBurnie, Tripper, Dike, David Johnson scored at Leeds away, Ryan Kent , John Curtis , Steele
Dike. Special mention for Rory Delap who I genuinely believe kept us up in Flicker's great escape season.
Not favourite.....but maddest..... Garry O'Connor.......scores on both his loan debuts, promises to be a legend, so we sign him permanently and the rest was just a blur, especially for him......
