I've got a funny feeling about this one tonight. It's going to be a cold, wet, windy night and I don't think our lads will fancy it. 2-0 to Oxford.
It’s about 10 degrees down here atm. Been raining on and off all day and the wind is picking up. Gonna be a tricky game.
A wins a win, but all our victories recently have been too close for comfort. We must be due a 2+ goal cushion win by now.
I'm checking in early. I was up early yesterday and straight into "Radio Silence", so that I could watch the Challenger round of the BBL, without knowing the score. I did the same today for Australia's final group game of the AFC Asian Cup. I'm hoping to repeat this for the Final of the BBL tomorrow. When I first arrived in this country, many moons ago, most of these sports wouldn't have been televised here. Now I can get almost everything, but so many start between midnight and 03:00. The struggles of a lazy retired armchair sports fanatic.
Sounds like conditions are pretty decent down there, according to the RS commentator. Not too windy, quite mild. I bet the pitch cuts up though so that might limit our silky football, but we’ll still win. I’m investing my tenner anyway
