Jan Molby. Might have been at the end of his career and slightly overweight but what a player. Was a pleasure to watch him, even though it was just for 5 games
I was truly shocked when I looked at lumsdens number of games for us. 85. . I can only remember he had one outstanding game. I think it was his debut on loan. Certainly changed my mind before the end of it. When he handed his boots over to someone in the ponty. And i wasn't clamouring for him to come back.
Isted no, we already had Collins ( albeit injured) although he did well to step in for us after not playing much and I'm hoping Roberts becomes ours so doesn't count as a loan player if he does in my eyes. Have to say though that our loan players this season are leading the way in getting the crowd going!
Dike, McBurnie, Barnes, Kent, Brian McCord who then turned babba once signed, Butland, McShane, Drinkwater, Trippier, him from Leicester, him from Burnley the CH can’t remember their names we’ve had some good ens
Agree with all above. I'd also mention the two full-backs Mark Robins brought in from Stoke City in '09-'10. Carl Dickinson and Ryan Shotton. They transformed how we played at the time.
Chris O'Grady always used to get me thinking, is there a player who has played for every South Yorkshire club? He played for Wednesday, United, us and Rotherham (and also played for Chesterfield if we include them as part of the Radio Sheffield catchment). So, only Doncaster. Bruce Dyer played for us all too, barring Wednesday.
