Styles must be rubbish, it's only a playoff chasing team from the league above who want him.

All opinions, mines he's been poor this season. Overrated by many, doesn't get in our best midfield 3 and caddens a better lwb. I think I move is probably best for callum and barnsley fc. If he was as good as many on here are convinced he is he would be a Millwall player now. Its fairly obvious the club want him off the wage bill and he wants out.

Based on that logic Norwood went to non league does that mean he's *****?

If we somehow get 500k for him I think we’ll have done exceptionally well. Bags of potential but we don’t see any of the Styles we saw 2/3 year back. Whether he just needs to play along side more quality players, I’m not sure. I won’t miss him, but wish him the best.

 

All due respect I'd say we've seen more minutes of styles playing over the years to give a more accurate assessment than a scouting video.

 

I'm pretty sure that a multi million pound industry does more due diligence than watching a few videos of a player.

 

Yep we've seen enough this season to last a lifetime. Good luck to him at Sunderland or wherever but if people have watched him this season and been impressed I'm shocked.

Sunderland, 10th in the Champ, is about his level if he can make it click.

Decent move for him I guess, and ups his level ready for the Euros.

End of the day, if he wants to go, he should. Only keep players who want to stay…..

 

Does that mean he’s anything special or just that he’s a cheap, versatile option for a club with huge revenue compared to us?

They could put him on 10k a week & it’ll be barely noticeable to them. The asking price has obviously come down from what we wanted originally for there to be some interest.

It’s the equivalent of us taking a versatile player from Accrington or Morecambe & having him on our bench.

Seriously though, Styles has been such a disappointment, and I think even Millwall dodged a bullet there when they saw how over rated he is.
