…whoever is in charge of transfers.

Do not sell Collins down the garden path like you did in the summer with transfers. You’ve pocketed 9 million in August and it needs spending…

You’re letting Styles go without an adequate replacement being lined up, we’ve finished the game today with a midfield of Cotter, Russell and Mcatee…

At absolute minimum we need a LWB, CB and a midfielder… over to you, you’ve got a week….

    PS - some result tonight…

We're 11 games unbeaten, won 3 in a row and we're 4 points off top with a game in hand and this is what you decide your post-match comment will be?

It's been explained umpteen times that in League 1 the club runs at a deficit. The owners have had to put millions in just to keep the club afloat. There's absolutely no almost 8 figure transfer kitty.

You have no idea if Styles is going and you have no idea who is being lined up or not as a replacement.

And the key thing here - I suspect Styles wants to go, especially with the Euros coming up.

It's better than Collins out like we usually get.

Tbh he isn't wrong, Collins needs backing, working miracles with what he's got.

I can absolutely guarantee you we don’t have 9m in the bank to spend

Perhaps it's time for certain people to give Collins some credit considering, as you say, we had Okeeffe, McAtee & Russell in midfield?

He’s right though. This league is there for the taking if we can get a couple of key players in….

We’re in a position now that promotion should be a real possibility…

I don’t want us to let this slip, especially when others are slipping up around us.

Signings like Oli Shaw (who was signed in this window last year!) aren’t going to cut it this time around, we need players who’re going to impact the first team from the get-go….

What you on about, did you miss the part where the owners have injected funds to keep us afloat to the tune of £8m -10m to offset the cost of relegation.
Last summers sales were to help balance the books, we're ran as a self sustainable club and don't have sugar daddies chucking millions in.
Have you slept for the past few years or something.

Once we replace Styles there is quite a lot of depth to the squad. You’ve got two senior pro’s for every position. It’s just a pain in the arse that a couple of them are nearly always injured - Benson & Cundy & a few others are underperforming but they all take a wage & that’s why I don’t think we’ll sign anyone else except back up for wing back / centre midfield

Surely the Styles transfer has to be shelved until there's a diagnosis on Kane (and Phillips if he was injured)?

What part of "you've pocketed £9m and it needs spending" isn't saying spend millions?

That doesn’t necessarily infer that he means we need to spend the full amount.

If Styles is going we should sign a LWB, especially with Cadden out of contract in the summer and potentially leaving for free.

I’d be inclined to get a striker and a CM in on loan, if possible, ideally both with pace.

Well, actually it doesn’t. If you spent £1, you would still be ‘spending’ the £9m, just a very small percentage of it.

And I guarantee he will be. People just need a bit of patience and perspective.
