That’s a big shock, thought he was in the process of rebuilding this season. Xabi Alonso nailed on I reckon.
Hmm. Wouldn't surprise me if it was all just a bit of a ruse, to garner support. Unless he's already been offered a gig too good to turn down, e.g. Germany manager.
His backroom staff are leaving as well. Be interesting to see what it does to Liverpools season this, it could potentially derail due to the distractions caused by the announcement which would make for fantastic viewing.
I like him so sad to see him go. His teams have been the most exciting of the premier league era in my opinion.
Not a Man Utd fan by any stretch but that team with Giggs, Beckham, Ronaldo and Scholes, played with genuine wingers and attacking football was the best IMHO.
Can you imagine how bad English football would’ve been for the last 6 years ago if it wasn’t for Klopp? It would’ve just been City cruising to league titles. Took players from Southampton & relegated players from Stoke, Newcastle & Hull & a so called Chelsea flop & made them into one of the best & most entertaining teams this countries seen & competed with a state funded juggernaut breaking record points totals for fun. English football will be significantly worse off without him.
No chance. This guy Rohl is going to win the Premier league and manage Germany at some point. I know thus because its what Wednesday fans told us on twitter after 3 games, 2 being losses. Least he plays great football!
Completely agree that was a brilliant attacking side but they tightened up at times & would stick Nicky Butt in there & go more defensive in tough away games & against top European opposition. It didn’t matter who Klopp’s side played they went on the front foot pressing top sides all over the pitch. Full backs getting nearly 20 assists in a season.
