It is indeed I think that's why clubs and sometimes the players prefer loan deals keeps everyone's options open should things not work out and hence the final day carnage, it is was it is really.

Think killip has been OK for a NO:2 so no big issue there, cundy not fancied by Collins it would seem, Cosgrove got the talent when he wants, Watters an expensive failure, Shepherd and Lopata definitely potential for future and still learning, Benson again can do it but so injury prone, okeefe not for me.

If we can get a back 3 of Mael, McCart and pines with Cadden LWB Williams RWB midfield 3 of Phillips, Kane, Connell with Cole and Mcatee up top I don't think there's a team in the league beats that 11.
Problem is strength in depth for me squads too big needs trimming with having 5/6 decent replacements and utilise the academy then.

I was led to believe that he was already considering the Swansea offer before We.bley.

His body language as he was stood alone applauding our fans did seem to suggest he was saying goodbye. By then he probably had an inkling of what a failure to get promoted would mean in terms of players he was going to retain.
