For next season on sale already... Bargain at only £460 for the cheapest and £630 for the most expensive... on early bird if you buy 8 months before the season starts. https://www.swfc.co.uk/news/2024/january/202425-season-tickets-on-sale-now/
Cheap at twice the price .... oh hang on, it is twice the price !! Absolute bargain if you're in the third division.
10 days to get em at the Early bird price. Phase 3 ends 8th March. (40 days.) Dread to think what prices will be after that date.
I know we all like to have a laugh at our footballing neighbours, but selling season tickets in January is disgusting - at any price. But it's like anything else - while ever there are idiots willing to buy, there will always be ******** happy to sell.
So it looks like they’ve put their prices up by about 10 to 15% but not disclosed what the price will be after March - also give people about a week to buy at the cheaper price this very much looks to me like a desperate attempt to get some liquidity quickly, possibly for the transfer window ? They’re up **** creek with him in charge, so glad we are in decent hands.
I mentioned something like this before, and if this is the case, how do they hope to operate next season if they are trying to rake in next season's money this early....
Didn't he want to do even earlier sure I read he delayed it around the time fruit loop kicked saying no more money.
Originally scheduled to be on sale the week before Xmas, offer then withdrawn without explanation, Possibly EFL stepped in fearing they'd have an unfair advantage in this transfer window and concerns over their cashflow for next season.
Or more than likely wendy fans kicking off. I dont think the latest offer will go down too well either. Although not wendy diehards (more from the couch) 2/3. Choosing to get season tickets at Barnsley next season. As 1 lives in Barnsley and wants to take his young daughter to games. Tuther mi bro in law. (Other 2 mentioned are his son and Granddaughter) And tbf seen barnsley far more than wendy.
Talking to a wendy in local and evidently you can only buy STs through Pay Pal online. Cash or cheque only in Ticket Office. He looked a tad concerned...
The thing is when your a massive club with massive support and fans with massive ego's they'll pay a massive amount of money to watch the Massive.
I would have thought they would have extended our early bird prices to at least the end of the season considering the way we are playing, but do believe the board are getting greedy
