It’s going to be a tough game regardless, probably the most difficult game of the season.

We really need Kane to be fit otherwise I think we’re screwed.

 

Could do with McCart fit too…..or Earl to sign.

 

I think Earl will complete tomorrow. But would Collins throw him straight in ??

 

No reason not to if he’s been playing regularly for Fleetwood.

 

Simple fact of the matter is if we still have hopes of the top 2 we have to beat them,we are capable if we are at our best and at least it’s away from home.

Now winning. Bit like last season no point looking at other teams to help us. Should be in our own remit unfortunately we just haven’t had the team to go further this year.

 

What do you mean? Aren't we better of points-wise this season than last year at the same stage? We're still well in it. 2 games can change hell of a lot, especially considering we have 2 games in hand.

What place are we the league?

Top place side 8 points ahead of us with us having two games on hand so we would need to win both to be in with 2 points.

2nd place have a game in hand on us and are 5 points clear.

 

So 2 games can change everything then, no? We are very much still in it. Hopefully a couple more signings, luck with injuries and we could do it. We managed to get promoted after being in relegation zones in December before, so I'll definitely not write us off yet...

I make us 4pts shy of 2nd if everyone wins their games in hand on the leaders. Still very much everything to play for.

 

We have to play both of them, Bolton twice - also Derby at home. Nothings won or lost yet. Even though we lost our last game, we’re still on the back of a very good run.

 

We didn’t have the team to go further last season. We fell away badly in the end and finished in the playoffs.

I don’t think we’re relying on others to help us any more than anyone else. Playoffs in our own hands and we have a big say in the automatics because we’ve got some of the top teams still to play.

 

The squad as it stands just doesn't have enough depth in all areas to trouble the top 2 (imho).
The play offs are well within our grasp but even that's not a given. I still think Blackpool will come on strong at the end. The next couple of days are key to our prospects. We definitely need a LWB/LCH and another midfielder as a minimum. I'd also like another striker but I know that's highly unlikely.....
