    HYPOTHETICALLY GUYS.. I'm not saying I would ever want the name "Oakwell" to change, but if the money was too crazy to refuse what company/brand would you want our stadium to be named after?

    This also could mean if you yourself were a celebrity, who would you be happy to endorse?

    I'm so glad we've never sold the stadium naming rights, even though it would always be Oakwell to us and any other sane football fans. Just as nobody in their right mind would ever refer to Valley Parade or Sincil Bank as the University of Bradford or LNER stadiums.

    Still, it's better than some new stadiums which only seem to have a sponsor's name. Huddersfield's ground has only ever been known by a series of sponsors' names, although I believe it's actually called the Kirklees Stadium. I have no idea whether Leicester's and Bolton's grounds actually have a real name. I can't even remember what Hull's is called these days.

    What about individual stands sponsored by 90’s pop acts? I remember super furry animals were the main sponsor for Cardiff at one point and of course ed sheeran is involved at Ipswich.

    I’m thinking the East 17 stand, the Beautiful South Stand, not sure about the north.

    Less than convinced that the Right Said Fred West Stand will catch on either …
