Ever so slightly surprised about Lopata, but given we have plenty of CB options, a spell at a league 2 side might do him some good. If all of that comes off, I'd be more than happy.
Hhmm interesting, but I'll believe it if or when I/we see it. What is the issue though with Kasper, I don't understand it.
Don't understand the Lopata one. He was one of our best performers until he got injured. I'd have moved things about to fit him back in.
Yeah. I'd seen a tweet earlier on saying Lopata was signing for Port Vale but it looked to be from a fake rumours account so who knows
I don't think that'd be a bad move for him either to be fair. He's got a long contract here so getting him game time and experience can only be a good thing.
Don't get and never have done the Lopata love in. A big slow lump who for his size gets bullied in the air.. poor signing.
Don't understand what has gone on with Lopata. Admittedly, him and Mael make for a pretty slow pairing of centre backs but he's not made too many mistakes and is worthy of a place in the team.
Surprised Shep is being preferred over Lopata, but there you go. The sooner we can get Williams back to RWB, the better. Still leaves us light in the middle IMO, if we don’t replace Styles, and I’m assuming we won’t be bringing another striker in. Leaves us short for me.
I’m surprised at Lopata leaving. I know he’s not starting much but injuries (like what is happening with our midfield right now) would leave us a bit short I think. Will the left back be Bondswell or Earl?
So pretty much stating the obvious. We know about the LB and Styles and it makes sense to get Lopata minutes.
Me too regarding Shep. We'd have 3 left sided defender with McCart, Earl and Shepherd. Seems to me we'd then be short of right sided defenders.....
Shepherd will be seen as cover for lcb, and I presume Lopata rcb. I think Shepherd might have been loaned out too if McCart was fit.
Both Lopata & Sheperd need loaning out, both not quite good enough yet, however one could be seen as cover.
Prior to his injury (Lopata) he was looking good, steadily progressing. The injury seems to have really knocked him, and he does look half a stone over where he needs to be. A loan to refocus and a general change of scenery might do him good. Didn't do Kane any harm when he went to Oxford.
