Absolute joke that it's only an option to buy.

Roll over and have your bellies tickled lads.

Option to buy, not an obligation. They'd better be stumping up 100% of his wages or else we've been royally fu**ed here.

And why did a simple loan with an option take until 22:30 on deadline day to complete? Wow.

Not sure an option to buy helps anyone here but guess that's all that could be agreed

Rolled over and let him go again cos he doesn't want to put the required effort in here in a league he thinks he's too good for......

He'll be back in summer no doubt when Sunderland see he's not worth the fee just like millwall last season.

Guessing Sunderland had other options or we were trying to confirm a replacement.

Well, we're saving wages I suppose and more championship experience for if we get promoted if Sunderland don't take the option to buy.

End of the day it's been obvious he's wanted out, body language and performances have spoke a thousand words, no point carrying deadwood

I have to say, option to buy is a disappointment.

I’m not saying I don’t want Callum back - but the deal isn’t that great for us really is it? I’d have sooner drawn a line under it for good now.

Option to buy rather than obligation means we’ve just let him go for minimal benefit. If any.

According to Bobby “Callum expressed a desire to leave the Club and play at a higher level in the second half of this season.”

if he doesn’t want to be here the only way to get any money for him is to put him in the shop window.

So we don’t have the player and don’t have the money to replace him, and then he skulks back here in May when they don’t want him. What the **** are we playing at? It’s almost as bad as letting two centre halves go on loan, when we have been struggling at centre half. A couple of injuries and then what?

Don’t get it, he’s our player, they obviously want him , so why couldn’t we just tell them to either put up or shut up.
This way they get to try him and if there is anything they don’t like they just get to send him back! Pfffff

If he had performed for Millwall last season he wouldn't have been here this season. The release fee is peanuts to a championship club.

£2 million is hardly peanuts to anyone without parachute payments.

It's akin to your bird cheating on you and you allowing them back.,..

    Once bitten twice shy.

If it doesn't work out. Tough *****. I wouldn't want him back
