I got confused and thought we'd signed the other Conor Grant - the left footed Connell type player who was at Plymouth last year. Seem to remember some rumours about us being in for him last year but he's 28 and only moved in the summer..

Looks a decent prospect but not necessarily the type of midfielder I thought we needed

 

Their fans seemed to rate him, up until their manager dropped him from the team a month or two ago, and then they decided he was rubbish.

 

I’m not saying Grant is good and I’m not saying he isn’t. MK fans didn’t rate Callum Brittain either from what I remember.

I think he's just what we need. All action midfielder. Skilful, links up play with an eye for a pass. I'd play him instead of Russell.

 

Just doesn’t feel like the type of signing to get you over the line in a tough promotion run in but hopefully he proves me wrong and adds something different to the team.
