    If it turns out to be true, I’ll wish him well and give him every chance first but not the background I would have been looking for.
    On face value seems to be more about the data side than players.

    Don’t think he’s American - did his undergraduate degree at Leeds Beckett and phD at York. Worked for 777 but U.K. based, and was at Leicester and Huddersfield before that.

    Think he’s always been uk based.

    Worked at Leicester & Hudds and is UK based for 777.

    To be fair, looking at his stats, qualifications and experience, he does look a good option and will fit the mould in regards Data analytics.

    I’d say a good appointment tbf.

    This doesn’t spell the end for Bobby though - just the time isn’t right for him. I’m sure he’ll support the new bloke though.
