Bradford are above Barnsley because they won the fa cup in 1911 and Barnsley have never won it. Imagine checking who won in 1911 and not noticing 1912 or 1910 for that matter

No joking aside we aren't. Had some of the happiest days of my life at Oakwell and following Barnsley and met some wonderful people there and through Barnsley F.C.
The definition I have looked up for "tinpot" returns "having or showing poor leadership or organization." Then it goes on about being second rate or third rate. Inferior. Mickey Mouse too - although it seems to me as though Mickey has done far better than us over the years. I think we fit second and a half rate. But not inferior. Leadership these days is inferior to investment/cash splash. My conclusion. You're tinpot these days if your owners are skint.
No problem with these owners. Reason being they've been clear about spending. In that they're only going to invest in the business and not splash silly money. (One could argue that mantra was the same under Conway and Lee). The thing that's impressed me most is even this "new board" sees our natural level as the Championship. That's a major plus. However, I'm a strange breed of fan. If the club came out and said they were tweaking the model to youth and selling players and our level was league 2 with a squad of 22 youngsters. As long as it was up front I'd accept that. Might not like it (hate it even). I'd accept it. I can take a lot but not being lied to. Thankfully this board isn't doing that. Whilst they keep injecting funds and dealing with the Council etc. They'll do for me.
No way. We've certainly gone through a trying period under lee and Conway. But I'm more optimistic with the present board. What do you think and what made you ask.? History. ? Way we are seen by others or even our own fans.? Because there's plenty on here would say yes. That we are already aware of. And will be delighted to reply for the umpteenth time.
