Crazy of him to go for it. Had absolutely no chance of making a clean tackle and it couldn't result in anything there than a red card which essentially handed the game to Norwich.

If he doesn't it's a goal though which with only 20 mins left probably gives the game to them anyway. I'd say grinding out a draw with 10 men is more likely than getting a goal back away at Norwich. Tough one though

Is it a goal though? There's a keeper to beat and another defender coming back too which puts pressure on the striker to think fast as he can't take an extra touch

Think the other defender was Bobby Thomas, but he wasn't that close. If Kitching hadn't gone for it and the Norwich player scores, he gets pelters for standing by. No win situation for him really.
He's proving he can do it at the top of the Championship though. Cov fans I know are loving the Collins/Thomas/Kitching triumvirate.

Nobody is disputing that, mate. They're just wondering if Kitching had to try for the tackle. Clear red

He did but it was his own making, he was caught flat footed and out of position, if he stayed switched on he would have been able to shepherd the guy away but left him self with no option but a lunge to try to retrieve the situation.
The tackle to me smacked of more about his frustration.
