Came on as a sub for a min, then stretchered off again. Having no luck with these recurring injuries poor lad
There's been many a footballer built like him mate, can't think of any of them who have had injuries to the extremes he has in such a short period bud
Ohh dear, poor Dazza. The Baggies fans have been very harsh on him because of his injuries, but surely he's not doing it deliberately. He's not a total and complete Oulare is he!!. https://boards.footymad.net/showthread.php?t=38315523
I loved him when he was with us, hope he gets fit soon. In other news, why do we call footballers "the lad". I do it all the time? It's funny.
The rigours of MLS football compared to EFL might have just highlighted issues that have always been there, but never bothered him. Feel for the lad - luckily, he did get a decent contract, so financially he’ll be ok for now.
It's been a nightmare few years for him. It will end up costing him his career if he can't come through the other side of it. He has no worries financially but it must be killing him mentally.
Been reading the West Brom forums - seems it may be his other Achilles, which would mean another very lengthy time out, just after coming back from months off with the other one. If true, thats beyond unfortunate. If that takes him close to the end of his contract at the Hawthorns, then questions are going to start being asked about whether it's time to just pay him up and let him go. I really fear his career may be on the line if this turns out to be a bad one again. Feel really sorry for him because he has always come across as such a likeable bloke.
Feel gutted for the lad. But correct me if wrong. The commentator on the highlights made out he suffered injuries also whilst with us. Not that I can remember. ?
