He proved he could manage without relocating during his time with us, so would expect some compromise. If the press reports are correct, we should find out soon but I think they'll appoint him without him upping sticks (but agree on it not happening if that's Huddersfield's condition).
For the club, I don't see a difference between the manager living in a flat in the area during the week and his family staying where they were - especially if they have school-age kids and its likely only a temporary position - and the family moving into the area. He could live in HD1 and go home to Cheltenham when he had time...

Exactly - re-locate the family then get sacked (or poached) within 2 years. Football management is a very transient career these days.
