Hopefully this and the Bolton game we can more or less sell the ground out and back the team like we did Wednesday and Derby last season.
I’d expect 16/17000 for both games which will seem odd given there will probably be circa 4000 more away fans than normal (4500) and the 2 and half home stands will be way more populated than had been so far this season. Think all it does is highlight crowds actually in attendance are well below 11500 often announced ( we know season tickets are counted).
I think it would be poor if we don't get 12500 home fans minimum for the Derby game at 25 quid a ticket
That's not how reciprocal pricing works. Presumably we've agreed to charge our highest price. Ours is £25, theirs is £30. Regardless, it's not the Bolton fans who set the price, it's their club. As usual, it's the common football fan who's being ripped off. I'd love for us to break the mould and properly get behind the £20 is plenty mindset. Set a precedent. Charge everyone £20 in all areas of the ground. You'd increase the attendance in the home end slightly, but in the away end much more proportionately.
I’d say charge Bolton £30 each but limit them to 1,500 seats. Same with Derby. Can’t stand seeing that end full of noisy away fans! Mind you, it’s great when we are tonking their teams by 3 or 4
Agree absolutely with the £20 thing, but it's just a shame that on this occasion we can't return Bolton's favour with a £30 price for their fans. Yes, it penalises the fans but they should then direct their ire at their own club for starting this daft thing.
Did we agree a reciprocal price with Derby. I can't remember. Edit away game this season. Appears we may have. Adult 22-64: £20.00 Senior 65+: £15.00 Young Adults 18-21: £15.00 Under 18: £10.00 Under 13: £5.00 Infant 2-5: FREE
Did we? I thought away clubs only had to agree on ticket prices for cup games. The only times there are agreements on prices for league games is when there's reciprocal pricing.
Ought to ensure a bumper crowd if that's the case, especially if we can get a decent return out of the next two away games.
Presumably, if we didn't agree to reciprocal pricing, both clubs could charge whatever they wanted. It wouldn't mean we wouldn't get an allocation of tickets.
