He didn't actually come out of tunnel *, he was in it - it was absolutely fantastic to see, he was buzzing and all the players were too. Hugs galore! Edit * - unless he's done it a different time and I didn't see it
It was funny the way he was peeping out of the tunnel when he was sent off. I didn't think he did come into the pitch after the whistle?
I loved the bear hugs Pine was dishing out at the end as well. For goodness sake get him in the team Collins!!
I don’t think he ever went down the tunnel to be honest. Saw him watching the game from the end of it. Not actually sure what the rule is and if the player has to go in the changing room or just leave the field of play?
‘A player, substitute or substituted player who has been sent off must leave the vicinity of the field of play and the technical area.’ I’d say being in the tunnel qualifies.
Actually on the subject of our players celebrating the 2nd (and winning) goal, I thought it was brilliant. Maybe there was a lot of built up frustration coming out there, and some anger as well at the refs awful performance. Luca was right in getting annoyed at them messing up the kick off, as we clearly wanted to get on with it and win it. But I don't know what he said exactly, and he'd already been booked.
I haven't seen a love tunnel for months so good on Connell for staying in the tunnel and feeling the warm glow of victory and sweet smell of success .
What about when they sit in the dug out after a red card. Not sure about being in the changing rooms.
