NEW DATE SET FOR STEVENAGE CLASH Fixture News We can confirm a rearranged date for our away trip to Stevenage in Sky Bet League One. Continue reading on the official site...
Means assuming pompey game has to get rearranged due to their international commitments that will be 16th or 23rd April then so either game 43 or game 45 of the season
FFS - One of only two grounds I've not visited in this division and it's been arranged for the one Tuesday I can't do as away with work!
I can't see us having enough on duty to request it. Most likely Cole and possibly Russell. I believe its 3. So could fit Jalo in if necessary. For if Cole gets called up.
Yes. That's how I read it. Think they have a few players, but may have changed during the transfer window. https://www.portsmouthfc.co.uk/news/2023/october/oxford-match-postponed/
Collins said in his pre-match presser last week that Jalo's injury isn't as bad as first thought. Won't be available in the short term, but could be back before the end of the season.
That was my point yes. Think they have called off every game on international weeks this season. Can't see it being on. If it is on we could be missing Cole and Connell which would be rubbish. Maybe use the Greg leigh rule? or use dyer as the 3rd player. Maybe russell?
I get that Andy. I was putting forward our position. As we may apply. I think pompey jumped the gun for our home game. As I think a couple were not selected for the final squads. which made a mockery of the selection process.
He said as you say in the Chron. Then heard from 4-6 weeks. Latest. (Not sure where) That was last week so could be as early as beginning of march. But more than likely rules him out of an international call up. Which will be around the second week in March.
Three of the five players Portsmouth have had in international squads earlier in the season are now out injured for the rest of this season. Unless they have someone new called up or we have three then the game should go ahead as planned.
Hasn't stopped them previously. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see them connive a postponement some how, in order to increase our fixture backlog, whilst they have scores on the board. It's all a conspiracy
I really hope you're wrong. We'll have already had Cambridge, Oxford, Carlisle, Shrewsbury and Stevenage away midweek - adding Portsmouth to that is frankly taking the piss. Hope to God its not moved.
