Our second time having Mr Parsons this season. He was viewed favourably last time, and to be honest, I thought he had a decent game last night too.

Got the penalty spot on in my opinion, and tried to clamp down on time wasting early doors. My only criticism is that on two occasions, we'd gained an advantage and he pulled it back, but otherwise he let the game flow where he could.

I think that's right. He made a bit of a howler in the passage of play where Philips was booked as their payer hauled down one of our defenders which he let go for some reason. Overall, I thought he did ok apart from, as you say, the advantages.

Nowhere near enough time added second half. Booked 1 player for Time-wasting after 50 mins, keeper after 60 who then got even slower. Pointless. Should have been 7 or 8 mins and we might have nicked it. Marked him down for that.

Agree. If the goalie was deemed bookable after 60 mins then he should have walked not long after.
Couple of advantages not played, and we got pulled back twice for throws taken in the wrong place yet they seemed to choose wherever they wanted.
One in the second half; ref watched the ball go out 10 yards before halfway, yet he watched their lad walk to 5 yards in other half to release it.

I’d love to see refs send goalkeepers off for time wasting.

much like surrounding the ref after a foul, until the correct action is taken players will continue taking the piss

I thought he was excellent overall. Certainly not an homer as we got most of the rub of the green. One passage of play he stopped instead of letting go. Maybe short on minutes of injury time. But certainly nowt over controversial imo. An 8 from me.

The yellow card is almost like a protection for goalkeepers cos it doesn’t make any difference to them time wasting.

Gave him 7, possibly the best I've seen this season. Only one minor gripe, having booked their keeper for time wasting he didn't follow that up with a red one when the keeper carried on time wasting.

3 from me, only 4 mins at the end almost unbelievable. Also, 2 of our players booked for fouls, yet again their similar fouls or even worse go unpunished. I remember a throw in to them where apart from taking an age to take it, the ball went out about 4 yards in their half, by the time he took it he was a similar distance in our half. As I’ve said many times, mistakes are 1 thing, but inconsistency is inexcusable

6 from me, gave Okeefe nothing all night when their LB practically had his shirt off at times and the added time was baffling

Did you see when Cole put the ball on the 6 yard line for him making the point and then he picked it up and moved it a foot to the side. It’s a joke. Almost think there should be a count down timer with goal kicks and if nots released in time. The other team got a throw in on the 18 yard line.

I thought he was decent. There was only one decision I was baffled by and that was more the linesman's fault, giving a goal kick to them when the ball hit two of their players before going out!

Got the penalty right (obviously I'd say that) and no issues with any of the yellows. As others have said, didn't hesitate to book those time-wasting early in the second half.

Solid 6. Good mostly, but 4 minutes extra time was a joke & should have weighed in more on the time wasting.

6 from me. Would have been higher but as others discussed he only played at stopping the timewasting and 4 minutes at the end laughable. Made a few errors also discussed above re advantage and ignoring the blatant off the ball foul before Phillips booking. But otherwise he was ok. We have had a lot worse

6 from me, let them steal 15 yards on every throw in, and pulled us up when we tried it. Overall, a reasonable performance

Got a few things wrong in my view, most or all already mentioned in the thread so I won’t repeat - but was generally ok and did at least try to keep the game flowing. 6/10
