Can that happen? I know it can with loan signings, but can it also be applied to a permanent transfer? Genuine question, I don't know the answer.
It's happened in Spain iirc before but don't think it's allowed here, or it certainly happens extremely rarely as I've never heard about it over here
Loans can't play against " parent club " he's our player we are his parent club so can't see how we cannot play him .
Its probably too long after now in this case, but if a club signed a player from a rival club immediately before they played, I'm sure there would be some gentleman's agreement that the new player wouldn't be involved in that game.
