    Bazball is the absolute opposite of that. 5 times we’ve conceded 400+ in the first innings, we’ve won 4 of them! This will hopefully be 5 out of 6.

    I think Stokes will declare at 300 and try and bowl India out for 200 to leave a fantastic run chase :D. Glad to kept being proved wrong :). (I won't eat humble pie until we avoid the follow on though.)

    I know it benefits us but it’s a rule that needs reviewing.
    Currently a replacement is only allowed for concussion or co-vid so surely a “ family medical emergency “ should qualify ?
    Anyway, they’re now left with 4 world class bowlers instead of 5 .. and a good batter down so c’mon England

    I love Joe Root. I love Bazball. But that was the wrong shot for the occasion. He opened the door and they battered it down.

    8 wickets for 120 odd is pretty pathetic to be honest. Such a good start just thrown away. Bazball is playing without fear, it’s not playing without a brain. Needed to be level or have a lead to stand any chance of winning this test match.

    Fornicating useless. Knew I'd be proved right. This team can't regroup and go again. No consistency from day to day. Had yesterday been 15 overs longer England would have been closer.
