The DJ in Jim's Bar when reading out the teams said he would head a brick for you and that he misses him. High praise indeed.

When we signed him I said on here that I thought it would be a really good signing. So far it’s working out like that.

Collins may have a decision to make for Saturday with who to pick as his 3 centre backs. Earl and MDG are probably near definite. So either McCart or Pines for the middle one.

That’s what I was thinking too. Also gives us the extra height, which we struggled with against Derby in our singular (!) away defeat of the season.

Looks a proper player. Lucky to get away with a penalty like, but still. Quality signing.

    This years Bobby Thomas signing!
A 7 out of 10 in every game so far (minimum).
Another neat and solid performance....big "love in" from me.

There was a phase of play earlier and the ball was knocked long, he caught the ball out of the air, looked up and played a simple ball out…….not my lads in league 1 have composure like that

Pines looked sound in the little time we had to see him. Good header of the ball and good passing. We didn't see him 1-1 under pressure but he certainly fits in on what we have seen so far.

So is Earl... You might be thinking of Grant who's in on loan, but we have an option to buy.

I though he was answering the McCart or Pines question.

Pines every time for me. I hate how McCart let's the ball bounce rather than meet it and deal with it.

On what I’ve seen for far a think If we compare Earl vs Kitching then a think we’ve got an equally as good player and 5 large heading into account

If Collins thinks McCart is the best option before Pines hes got to play him.McCart is also our player until the end of the season and hes never let us down.
