Who has the best ever away record in the football league is it worked out on defeats or points gained?
Since it became league 1 in 20024 the best record is Wigan who managed 16 wins, 3 draws, 4 defeats. That's 51 points. If we win every away game left we'll end on 16 wins, 6 draws, 1 defeat. That's 54 away points. Unless I've cocked my maths up as usual Edit: however in league 2 MK Dons won 18 out of 23 games and drew 3 back in 2008 for a total of 57 points.
we currently have 33 pts away from home. Since relegation from the Premiership in 97-98 when we have 33 or more away from home we have never finished lower than 6th-and there's still plenty to go
Interesting stats. Still got 7 away games, so you'd have to say we're looking good to beat the 18/19 tally.
