How did Declan Bourne do? Tried to let too much go in spells for me, which was to the detriment of the game.
Did some wrong things for the right reason, if that makes any sense. Wanted to let the game flow, which is great, but it was always going to be a bitty game with the conditions and pitch - it was never going to flow. Ought to have got more control over their petty fouling I thought. But he wasn’t awful or as one sided as some. 5/10.
Couple of late challenges that we got booked for that he let go for them. It’s just the inconsistency that’s so frustrating.
Can’t mark his performance as I’ve not watched the full game, but the one-sided booking total, does seem to indicate the usual inconsistency we see week in week out
Thought he was ok ish marked him down for bias on bookings - Thought the booking of Cadden was harsh in the extreme, no problem with our other 3 bookings except Phillips wouldnt have been booked if the ref hadnt ignored a clear foul to take Williams? out giving their guy a clear run down the wing. But he didnt card the Fleetwood players for similar offences which was annoying Regarding their penalty shout hard to tell for sure from the iFollow camera angle if Cole took their player out or if it was a good dive - looked a pen to me but the linesman and ref both had decent views so wont mark him down for that we've had a lot worse given him a 6/10
Can't disagree with the yellow cards he gave to McCart, Maelle, Earl but not Cadden. I've given him a 4 because he failed to give yellow cards for fouls by Fleetwood players which were equally obvious and repetitious by Fleetwood.
