Is it likely to be on today? Live in Hull but was in Barnsley last night after the game and assuming the weather was still bad.

Does the pitch they play on hold up?

    Cheers

It's a 4g pitch so I'd say it's playable. Your meaning the Women's team that play at Oakwell ?

The name of the club's women's team definitely needs sorting out. It's far too confusing for most people to understand which of the two teams is being referred to

Yeah they're playing on the 4g training pitch behind the away stand.

It has been sorted out hasn't it? They're now called Barnsley FC, the same as the men's team.

Said it more times than I could mention on here. Barnsley fc ladies is the title. I dont know why the club insist on using women as that belongs to the other team. And use ladies often in their posts. Facebook page even has it As Barnsley FC ladies.

From what I can work out there are Barnsley women's FC which play in Sheffield and Barnsley FC women's which play at oakwell. Oh but Barnsley FC women who play at oakwell are actually called Barnsley ladies on their own website and the league tables etc for all the teams within the club except the adult team which isn't called Barnsley ladies it's called Barnsley FC women but it's part of Barnsley ladies and nothing to do with Barnsley women FC.

    Or something

The more I look at their Facebook page and website the more confused I get. It's worse than Inception

They are Barnsley Football Club's women's team. They are referred to as Barnsley FC in the main, with references at times to Barnsley FC Women for clarity purposes. They are never referred to as ladies in anything club-related. Barnsley Ladies is the junior setup.

I think you need to read what I wrote again

Although The Barnsley Ladies website is not a club website. It’s the juniors. BFC took the senior players and they represent Barnsley FC.

So yes, probably is a little confusing but it’s early days for the Wonens team

The Barnsley Women's FC is nothing to do with Barnsley FC though. That shouldn't prompt Barnsley FC women's team to change their name. The Barnsley FC Ladies branding coming out of the Club could be a bit confusing though. I didn't know that existed until just now. I guess with the men's outfit, it's better understood because it's more established. There's a whole pyramid from academy to first team, which everybody just sees as coming under the Barnsley FC umbrella. I guess having the 8-18 girls plus the senior women's team, is the same idea?

The image you posted specifically says it's only for the junior teams and not the senior as the senior is now part of BFC
