**** me, we keep winning and can still make time to fall out with each other over unsubstantiated rumours (not saying the op is wrong / right or misinformed) Asking for a source isn't going to make any difference because the op can't throw his mate under the bus. For fcuks sake let's all get behind the club, back them to the hilt to the end of the season and rightfully take our place at the championship table. COYR
Could it be that the lads never played a full season or had any experience of playing Saturday - Tuesday regularly? We’re already paying the wages of Benson & Wolfe who are never fit & maybe wanted someone to join who had a more proven fitness record? If we look at Benson, he’s clearly a talented lad but he’d only played a dozen or so games on loan at Grimsby. Maybe James Cryne & anyone else involved have learned their lesson.
The knee-jerk responses that people can reach, routinely blows my mind. No questions asked, no context required, just 3rd-hand information taken as fact, leading to calls for the Cryne family to leave the Club. Crackers.
Whilst it’s interesting to know these things - the ultimate source who’s leaked this information really needs to understand his/her role at the club. And that’s professional integrity. No one likes a rat leaking stuff out. Eventually it’ll become obvious to the club who is leaking the info and they’ll end up being sacked. And rightly so.
I get what you are saying. But let's be quite honest. For every one that is a true reflection as to what has happened. There are lots more that quote 'from reliable sources' that are so far from the actual truth. It beggars belief. I know sources can't be revealed. ( and probably silly to even ask.) Been there done that. But the post has caused a few to lay blame entirely at James Crynes door. (Do you think he has the final say on such things. He may have input.) and criticism that may or not be well founded. I dont see that as defending James (willy nilly) But i would want a full explanation b4 condemning anyone.
The player agreeing to come is part of the process though, players often agree terms at clubs but then the move falls through for a variety of reasons. I’m not doubting Collins wanted him but am doubting that there is no data and that it was specifically James Cryne who stopped it. If the OP had said Collins wanted him, but the data didn’t back it up and the board declined I could believe.
That Non League data is banging....... Crynes playing Football Manager, suppose it's up to the investors if they are happy for that to happen.
So what's your source of this information ? If you can't say it's reasonable to assume it's not "cosher"......
That's why I stopped posting, people always asking for my source. I was given information as long as I kept his name to myself. Anyway now he's left for Bristol Rovers.
So you heard "something" so it must be true because someone else mentioned it.... Well the vast majority of things posted on this site (and it may well be better than most) are absolute b*l*o*ks"). I
