Bolton away at Cambridge. Bolton have won 1 of their last 4, though are unbeaten in 6 in the league (3 wins and 3 draws). Cambridge have pulled away from the relegation zone with a run of just 2 defeats in 7.

Oxford at home to Northampton. Oxford have only won 1 of their last 7, though are 5 unbeaten in the league. They've won 1 of their last 5 home games and will remain behind us even with a victory tonight and will have played 2 more games. Despite a good season, Northampton have hit a sticky patch themselves; their win over Bristol Rovers at the weekend was their first in 5 games, after a run of 2 defeats in 11 before (including a win over Oxford).

I don't fully subscribe to the notion that you shouldn't focus on other people's results, as sometimes you do just need a slice of luck. We went a long stint without dropping many points (and still have only lost 2 of our last 22) and still find ourselves 6 and 12 points off the top 2 respectively.

Cambridge have had some good results recently, they won 4-0 at Carlisle on Saturday.
They might just be a tough opponent for Bolton tonight. Let's hope so....

yep. Looking at boltons forum, the locals seem to be getting a bit restless.

it’s interesting that not many teams seem to be that concerned about us, hopefully we will fly under the radar.

Unfortunately, the way Carlisle are playing at the moment, I think me and thee would have a chance of getting a result against them.

I track our results in a spreadsheet (as I'm sure do many others). It's quite frustrating to see the run we've been on, yet spend weeks stuck at a certain level. It's just so tight at the top this season.

Looking at Derby's forum earlier and quite a few are very wary of us, one said don't count Barnsley out " the silent killers" lol, on the league one banter page on fb we aren't getting much of a mention, I'm more than happy with that tbh, just keep plugging away

But the trend is upwards. Let's hope there's sufficient time to make top two.

Probably the best thing Hondermarck has done for us that.

So far so good. All Bolton according to the stats, so I expect a tough second half for Cambridge.

Watching it. All Bolton to be fair, hard to see Cambridge holding out but you never know.

They've still got us, Blackpool, Derby, Stevenage and Peterborough to play away, and Portsmouth and Oxford at home.

I’m only annoyed that I was trying to lump on it at HT but my card ran out. Not surprised one bit they are now winning.

No I wasn't holding much hope for tonight either. Hopefully they make a pigs ear of it.
