Portsmouth and Bolton will finish top 2 IMO and it will be the play offs for us unless we go on an unbelievable run. If we win 11 and draw 1 of our remaining 14 games then that would take us to 94 points and that may not be enough for the top 2.
I think it's more likely 8 wins, 2 draws and 4 defeats to give us a season tally of 86 points. That would be a decent return for Collins.

Or forget the above and we just go on a 14 game winning run to take the league title :D:D

The thing is, I still think both Bolton and Derby have it in them to have an almighty wobble, similar to Wednesday last season. Don't get me wrong, we could too. It's the games against them which are going to be crucial though, as well as that game in hand vs Stevenage.

All we have to do is win our games especially home to Bolton and Derby and away to Pompey. That gives us a chance of 1st or 2nd.

    Nothing is settled yet.

Not asking for too much then, easy 9 points. Anything less than 8 from those and it's Collins out :D

It was around this time last season that we started looking pretty much unbeatable. Huge victories over Plymouth, Derby and Wednesday. Need exactly the same this season against Derby, Bolton and Pompey. Win all three of those and you'd have to fancy us for top 2. Win two of them and we're still in with a big shout. Any less than that and you'd have to say that the playoffs are most likely.

Thought after Bolton away top 2 was over. When we dropped more points at Shrewsbury I think that hammered it home more.

Drawing at Bolton after the chances we missed definitely felt like a big blow. But we could also have easily lost it late on, so if we beat them at Oakwell in a couple of weeks, it could start to look like a very good point indeed.

Shrewsbury - any point after trailing going into injury time is a point gained. Could easily be the difference between automatic and the playoffs at the end of the season.

With so many games to go anything can happen it will change week to week, still think it will go to the last game of the season.

That was the first game Cambridge had lost at home after taking the lead, and the first game Bolton had won away after conceding first.

Boltons next 2 games. Blackpool & Wigan away.
Their record at Blackpool is woeful, and Wigan is their local derby.

You're right about their record at Blackpool. Just looked it up and their last win there was 1977.
