Made his Sunderland debut today and fair to say there fans didnt rate him Apparently he was dreadful and would have preferred Harry Styles instead of him
He got a lot of stick from our fans this season. Some unwarranted in my opinion. But it’s in everyone’s best interests that he’s excellent at Sunderland and they buy him on a permanent deal so we can cash in.
I agree there, but Callum himself is the only one who can make the move happen. For him to go downhill like he has in these last two seasons, is really disappointing.
That’s my fear mate, I don’t rate him but he gets plaudits by some because he plays for Hungary(god knows how), so as much as I think he’s crap I hope somehow he gets a decent move and we get some brass for him
Some was very warranted. He was very poor in center midfield and anonymous most games. Moved to lwb and he was better but not as good as cadden. Wouldn't have liked to see him there today against that Wilson.
Ot is quite a statement for our recruitment team that an international player currently playing in the championship, who thinks he os better than us wouldn't get in our starting 11
Callum is a good player. He has not played well this season. But no reason for the ‘spurned lover’ vibes off this thread.
Good player at what level and what position?, for me he never done it midfield (and I was one of those who thought he’d be Mowatts replacement ), he did well under big Val at LWB granted but other than that he has been bang average at best with an attitude that as stunk at times, so I can well understand why he gets bad vibes
Let's see how he gets on at Sunderland. To be honest I hope he peforms well and we get a decent transfer fee for him in the summer, I think that would best for all parties. Don't know what's gone off behind the scenes but it sounds like he's made it clear he doesn't want to be with us anymore and there's no point trying to accommodate someone with a poor attitude who thinks he's bigger and better than the club.
