Average Age of Today's Starting XI

    Was 25.36.

    To me that's about right for a professional team and much better than it has been in recent times. It was around 20 occassionally in the Schopp/Ashbaghi era.

    I can't be inclined to work out the number of senior matches between them but that must be a lot healthier as well.

    Credit to BFC for changing tact as it was needed and I think it now shows that we're much better off with a blend such as we currently have than trying to send out effectively an academy team each week.

    25 and 36 days? Or ours was 25 and derby's 36?

    25 point 36 decimal. So that would be around 25 years, 4 months

    My average age gets higher every year. Getting pretty fed up of it to be honest.
